Tech Notes price is unchanged at $15.

BrightScreen focusing screens are made in the USA and are available to fit a broad range of TLR and SLR cameras from 4×4 to 6×7 cm format.

Three focus aid styles are available:
– BrightScreen MP has a 13mm microprism field in the center, which is particularly suited to portraits, and to waist level finders in general.  It’s my personal favorite for TLRs.

– BrightScreen MPD has a 6mm diagonal split image set in a microprism collar. The MPD screen is best with eye level finders, geometric subjects such as architecture, and for general photography.

– BrightScreen MAT is all matte, with no focus aid. The central 13mm circle is smooth and matte, with the Fresnel lens grooves covering the matte outer field of the screen. Without a focus aid, adjusting focus (in those cameras that require it) can be a little more difficult with this screen than it is with the MP and MPD.

A variety of scribed grids are also available on the screen if desired, at no extra cost.  Please refer to pattern charts at the links below.
